Certified Veterinary Technician

Willits Veterinary Hospital is looking for a hard-working, motivated, Certified Veterinary Technician for a full-time position in our small animal practices in the Roaring Fork Valley. Pay is $20 to $27. We have locations in both Basalt and Glenwood Springs. We are busy, growing, multi-doctor practices offering excellent care in a compassionate and professional environment. Our ideal candidate is someone who maintains a high standard of patient care, is able to multi-task in an ever-changing environment, can communicate effectively with clients, doctors and other team members and wants to fully utilize their skills as a Veterinary Technician. You will be given the opportunity for venipuncture, catheter placement, radiology and CT, anesthesia monitoring, patient assessment, surgical prep, assisting and recovery, including orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, laboratory work, pharmacy, client education, chemotherapy, in-patient care and so much more.
