We are seeking fun individuals who care about their community and are willing to work hard at something that truly makes a difference.  Last year the Thrifty Shops recycled 2,475,000 lbs while giving $450,000 to worthy help organizations and $25,000 in scholarships to CMC.

What We Do

VAIL VALLEY CARES THRIFTY SHOPS TURN YOUR DONATIONS INTO DOLLARS. 

Since 2000, we have given revenue generated by the thrifty stores directly to numerous Non-Profit help organizations as well as scholarships to Colorado Mountain College.  To date we have given over $5.9M back to our community in the form of grants, scholarships and individual benevolence through our partnering help organizations.
Our Mission

Vail Valley Cares Thrifty Shops is an ecumenical Christian help organization dedicated to sharing the love of God by meeting people’s needs.
