Advertising Sales Assistant

Join the leading media team in the Vail Valley. The Vail Daily serves readers, advertisers and community organizations through a high quality and well-read daily newspaper, the leading website plus many digital offerings and a portfolio of 10 magazines. This position works with our sales team and a wide range of advertising clients. It is a great opportunity to get involved with the local business community. The Vail Daily is seeking a highly organized, part-time advertising sales assistant to support our fast-paced advertising sales team and provide great customer service to our valued clients.

Primary responsibilities include: Scheduling advertiser print and digital campaigns. Working with our sales team, clients and ad production team to concept, deliver and approve creative ad campaigns. Other duties include a variety of logistics involved in delivering a daily newspaper, multiple magazines and a variety of digital marketing programs.

Qualifications:

College degree preferred but not required 2 years of customer service experience

Problem solving and flexibility Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability work with a variety of internal and external personalities.

Excellent organizational skills to work in fast paced, high volume, deadline driven environment.

Knowledge of Microsoft and Google programs.

Basic design skills and knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe is a plus.

There will be some office time necessary in our EagleVail and/or Gypsum offices but significant work can be done remotely.

Pay is $20/hour. $250 Recreation Bonus after 6 months.
