The Property Inspector & Errand Runner is responsible for the following and all other duties assigned: -Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively -Ability to exercise good judgment -Prior experience with Property Management Software -Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication -Ability to work independently and as a team, practicing good communication

-Use the VRC standard inspection checklist to conduct pre-arrival inspections for each property to endure it is properly prepared and ready for guest arrival -Ensure toiletries are replenished and displayed to standard -Ensure porches/decks are swept prior to the arrival of guests -Resolve minor maintenance issues (changing the light bulbs,& replacing batteries) and escalate any major maintenance issues using appropriate software -Resolve minor IT issues related to the TV & Wifi connections and interface with 3rd party providers when needed -Basic snow removal & salt spreading of small spaces (e.g. small decks, walkways &steps)

-Manage and deliver supplies and linens to homes upon request Additional Desirable Characteristics of Successful Candidates: -Positive Attitude and upbeat demeanor -Attention to detail Qualified candidates are those with highly evolved customer service skills with attention to detail. We're looking for an expert communicator who is able to work independently and maintain integrity. Interacting with guests will happen occasionally if there is an issue, you must be able to listen effectively to determine the root cause of an issue, communicate with the guests clearly and in a friendly, professional manner to solve the issue and ensure the guest has a positive experience while staying with VRC. Although most guests are reasonable, it may require working with challenging guests at times and you must be able to navigate situations in a professional manner and be able to provide reasonable solutions.

A minimum of 3 years experience in the hospitality and/or service industry with a focus on high-quality customer service. Prior experience in the hospitality, property management , vacation rentals and/or hotel industry is a must. Housekeeping and general management in a vacation rental setting is a plus. Bachelors degree in hospitality management, business administration or another related field preferred. May substitute education for professional certifications and/or experience. Candidates MUST have a valid drivers license and their own reliable transportation. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent This is a part-time position that REQUIRES weekends AND holidays. 25-30 hours a week. Pay starting at $25/hr.
