What We’re Looking For Vacasa is seeking a hard-working, energetic employee who is passionate about delivering on the promise of excellence in customer service. By providing personalized attention to our guests and owners, you will help us maintain our quickly growing portfolio of vacation homes. This is a seasonal position. We are hiring for this position now and employment is expected to end on or around 04/30. While the company is under no obligation to extend your employment through the season nor beyond the end date, there may be additional opportunities within this or other roles. What You’ll Do Greet all guests in a friendly and caring manner. Open doors to guests entering/exiting the lobby area. Assist guests with luggage to and from their unit. Assist guests with questions about the Resort/Local area. Show rooms to potential guests. Deliver guest items to units (toiletries/towels/etc). Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Maintain good communication with guests and all departments. Greet guests and assist them with loading and unloading vehicle. Transport guests to/from surrounding locations Responsible for inventory/upkeep of guest luggage carts.
Skills and Qualifications: Professional in all forms of communications such as email, phone calls, video calls and texts. Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions. Highly responsive and reliable. Strong attention to detail. Prior housekeeping experience a plus. Must be age 23+ and have a valid driver's license, 3 years experience as a licensed driver, and 9 months of CDL (if required) Must not have any major violations on driving record for the last 5 years. Provide medical certification from a healthcare provider within 30 days of starting employment if age 70+. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Work Environment and Physical Demands: Availability to work. Sunday through Saturday, early mornings and evenings as needed. Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time. Reach overhead and below the waist. Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist. The physical demands described here are an example of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
