Trainees and Experienced Operators

The Upper Blue Sanitation District is seeking highly motivated individuals to be part of a successful professional team. Position is open at Trainee level and above.

BASE SALARIES: • Trainee/D or C Operator | $57,750 • Operator B | $68,250 • Operator A | $72,450

The District has an excellent benefits package including health and dental insurance, a retirement plan, and a wellness benefit. Limited employee housing is available! Trainee position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn wastewater treatment operations. A CDL class B or above with an N endorsement must be obtained within 6 months of hire. A State of Colorado Class D waste-water operator’s license shall be obtained within l year of hire. Experienced operators should possess a strong operations and maintenance background, preferably with tertiary treatment, collections system operations and laboratory procedures. State certification is encouraged but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience. A pre-employment physical including drug screening and background check is required.
