Facilities Maintenance Technician Position

Facilities Maintenance Technician- $44,600-$62,500

ABOUT THIS POSITION - The Town of Basalt is accepting applications for a Facilities Maintenance Technician. This opportunity is one of eleven full-time positions within our public works department. This position is an important part of the Town’s public works team and is responsible for performing various tasks related to the maintenance and repair of Town facilities to ensure reliable operation. The successful candidate possesses a team-oriented working style, with excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain positive relationships, and responsiveness to the community.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE – Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or three years of related work experience. Colorado Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement required, but the Town is willing to train the right candidate.

The hiring range for a Facilities Maintenance Technician is $44,600 - $62,500 with salary commensurate to experience. This is a non-exempt position. The Town has some Town-owned apartments that may be available to a successful candidate.
