Designer/Job Captain/Intern Architect

Thunderbowl Architects is seeking an architectural designer/job captain to join our Aspen office. The position offers the experience of working on a variety of residential and commercial projects within the Roaring Fork Valley. We are looking for an individual that is looking to grow with the firm and has the ability to be self directed take initiative relative to their work.

Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Architecture or related design field 0-5 years’ experience in an architecture firm, involved in all phases of design and construction (well experienced in Construction Documentation). Strong software skills with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam and Sketch Up. Coordination skills relative to consultants, schedule, construction documentation. Ability to develop a set of construction documents and manage that process. Knowledge of Roaring Fork Valley codes and zoning regulations is preferred. Competitive salary commensurate with experience. Benefits include PTO, Aspen/Snowmass ski pass as well as schedule flexibility. This position is full-time, Monday through Friday. A candidate who is able to work in-person at our Aspen office will be prioritized, though we are open to remote work for the right candidate.
