Child Welfare and Adult Protection Caseworker The Caseworker's role is to protect vulnerable children and at-risk adults by assessing reports of abuse, neglect or mistreatment, assessing safety and risk, referring families to supports and services, and ensuring children and at-risk adults are in safe and appropriate environments.

Duties include intake screening, assessment, ongoing case management, documentation, working with the courts and referring families to appropriate supports and services. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in human services or related field required and one year of professional case management experience required after the degree in a public or private agency. Current caseworker certification in the Colorado Child Welfare System and or Adult Protection System is preferred. Spanish language skills preferred.

Salary- $2768.62-$3045.48/bi-weekly DOQ and a sign-on bonus is available. Summit County Government offers an excellent benefits package.
