Warehouse Assistant

Ruggs Benedict Carpet One Floor & Home of Avon, CO. Serving the Vail Valley for 50 years, is looking for a Warehouse Assistant that has a valid drivers license and can lift over 50 lbs.

Job duties include:
• Help installers load materials each morning: flooring, carpet, pad, tools
• Weekly deliveries of flooring, carpet and area rugs
• Maintain accurate warehouse inventory of all materials
• Maintain an organized and clean warehouse
• Assist warehouse manager with requested tasks

In 1972, Roger Benedict left college to open Ruggs Benedict with his two brothers. Together, they installed hardwood, carpet, and tile out of a garage in a trailer park. Finding success from providing customers in Vail and Beaver Creek with superior service and high-quality installation, the business continued to grow. After twenty years of success in beautiful installations, Roger decided it was time to look toward the future. In 1988, he decided to move from his van to permanent store, where Ruggs Benedict Carpet One officially opened its doors. Then and now, our store employees take pride in their work and our staff members have been with us for decades. In 2014, Alfonso, Mandy, and Gigi became our new owners, while longtime teammate Roger remains a valued part of our management crew.
