Independent Propane Company is seeking a Full-time Customer Service Representative in our Granby office. We are looking for a motivated team player with excellent communication skills. Applicant must be dependable, capable of multitasking, detail-oriented and able to follow a job through to completion. Basic accounting and computer skills and multi-line phone system skills are essential. All customer service reps will be trained as a Dispenser Operator to fill BBQ cylinders, free standing containers and motor vehicles. Competitive salary ranging between $19.00 - $22.00/hour and superior benefits package available, including health insurance, retirement, PTO, paid sick leave and propane discounts
The company was founded in 1968 as a proprietorship to sell propane and service gas appliances in Colorado Front Range communities near Conifer, Evergreen, Bailey and Pine. In 1974 it was incorporated as Action Gas Inc. Also in 1974 the owners acquired Independent Gas Company of Granby, selling propane to residential customers in Grand County. The trade name of Independent Propane Company was adopted in 1996. This web site is used by these two Colorado Corporations.
