Worship Team Coordinator

Grace Fellowship Church in Gypsum Colorado is seeking a Worship Team Coordinator to help cultivate an atmosphere of authentic worship. If you have a heart for worship, strong coordination skills, and musical proficiency, we’d love to hear from you! The primary role of the Worship Team Coordinator is to craft an engaging and excellent worship experience for the congregation during all church services. Pay and Benefits: $20,800 to $26,000 per year depending on experience. Part-time (20 hours per week), salary / non-exempt position.
Benefits include Paid Sick Leave. As our Worship Team Coordinator, you will:
• Work with Pastor to prepare the weekly, monthly, quarterly plan for worship
• Develop song order and arrangements using Planning Services, Music Stand and Song Select as well as other planning tools
• Provide regular updates and communication with worship team members
• Lead and coordinate musical direction among worship team members during worship services
• Lead and coordinate musical direction among worship team members during practice sessions
• Assist in planning, implementing and leading worship for special events outside of Sunday worship services
• Collaborate with the Pastoral staff to align worship with sermon series themes
• Collaborate with the tech team members to ensure smooth weekend services
• Maintain consistent standards of excellence in worship ministry areas
• Develop various teams of musicians for future growth and development
• Coordinate songs with the schedule of volunteer musicians and vocalists
• Schedule rotations of volunteers and staff members for worship teams
• Serving as a member of the ministry team at Grace Fellowship, demonstrating a commitment to this congregation and its mission
• Other duties upon request from management Music Management
• Build, maintain and update the church’s master song list
• Import new songs into the church’s digital planning software as needed
• Edit song arrangements weekly to fit worship needs
• Keep technical equipment for musicians and vocalists organized and in good working condition
• Update and replace equipment as needed to ensure a high-quality worship experience
• Prepare and manage budget expectations for worship equipment needs
• Track and report song usage for planning and licensing purposes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance Qualifications/Requirements:
• Passion for coordinating volunteer worship team and congregation in worship • Belief In Jesus Christ as personal Lord and Savior and agrees and professes the Apostle’s Creed.
• Gifted in leading congregational worship
• Possesses strong leadership, communication, and organizational and coordination skills
• Team player
• Ability to work with diverse teams of volunteers and full-time staff Education/Training/Experience:
• Proficiency in leading worship through live music, with the ability to skillfully play acoustic guitar or piano
• Musical proficiency in vocals
• Experience with Planning Center Services, Music Stand, and Song Select software is a plus
• Ability to use/adjust mixing board/sound console Working Conditions: This position requires regular planning, rehearsals, and participation in weekend services, along with meetings and administrative tasks throughout the week. Additional time for special events and extra rehearsals will be required as needed. On-site Work

• 5 hours on Sunday morning with arrival at approximately 7:30a.m.
• 3 hours for weekly rehearsal currently held on Thursdays from 6:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. (subject to change)
• Remote work of 2-4 hours for song selection and preparation Additional time may be required
• Remote work for researching, learning and arranging new song selections – 1-3 hrs. per song
• Remote work for scheduling team rotations
• Remote work for preparing for special services outside of Sunday mornings - 2-4 hrs per service
• Services conducted outside of Sunday Mornings - 2.5 hrs per service ie. Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Christmas Eve, Worship Concert Night etc.
• Practicing for special services 2-3hrs per service
