Operations and HR Assistant

Job Summary:
As an Operations and HR Assistant you will collaborate and assist in the Operations and Human Resources team. The primary functions of this role will be to perform administrative tasks to ensure the business functions efficiently. You will be responsible for a wide range of functions including providing reports that track business activity, coordinating projects and collaborating effectively with all levels of the organization. Operations provides support and works closely with higher levels of management and all departments to ensure that the activities of the organization are running efficiently. Duties/Responsibilities:
• Provide business reports on a regular cadence.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining relationships with outside vendors and business partners.
• Assisting HR Manager with administrative tasks
• Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
• Assisting Operations Managers with scheduling and staffing.
• Answer and direct all calls to Head Office.
• Log and distribute all incoming US Mail and other packages that come to head office.
• Responsible for completing special projects which include oversight and working with multiple departments.
• Assisting the Director of Operations with operational issues.
• This role requires a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite including advanced Word and Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude who can work with many different teams and people.
Education/Experience:
• 3-5 years of executive office management/administrative assistant or similar experience with increasing responsibilities in a fast-paced organization.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Hourly Range: $19.23 – $28.85
