Executive Director
This is a full time position for a self-driven individual to manage a 79 unit nonprofit Housing Authority for those 62 and older or disabled. Crystal Meadows is federally subsidized by HUD and the USDA Rural Development. Salary range of $80k - $90k depending on experience, bonus potential and some benefits.
Although On-site and Online training will be provided, the ideal candidate for this position would preferably have the following qualifications and skills: • Bookkeeping skills including the ability to complete payroll • Computer software skills including QuickBooks, HUD and USDA Rural Development software and programs, and Microsoft Excel and Word • Work with various individuals and organizations that offer programs and benefits to the residents • Reports to the Board, prepares Board packets for and attends monthly Board meetings • Ultimate mediator of conflict before issues go to the Board • Assist and coordinate with contracted CPA for the yearly auditing process • Coordinate and assist HUD and the USDA Rural Development representatives for audits and site inspections. • Complete and submit to HUD/USDA Rural Development re-certifications for all five phases • Manage flow of money from USDA and HUD through various accounts • Sets Annual Budget • On call hours may be required.
