Job Description: Pre-requisites for Position (Qualifications Standards) Education and experience sufficient for the rigors of the position. Examples may include a bachelor’s degree and five years relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skill and abilities to perform the functions of the position. Master’s degree preferred. Special Skills or abilities directly applicable to the position: Knowledge of current principles, practices, and trends in higher education student affairs, Civil Rights and EEO experience, state and federal laws, regulations and codes governing same; and trends and developments in technology that support areas of responsibility. Ability to facilitate cooperation through discussion and consensus-building, analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, implement policy to effect a functional administrative delivery system; identify and respond to public and senior-level administrative issues and concerns with District-wide impact; ability to provide leadership in order to implement institutional and divisional goals; communicate effectively orally and in writing; establish cooperative working relationships in the course of performing assigned duties. Hiring range = $132,894.17 - $147,660.19 annual salary depending upon a combination of education and experience.

CMC utilizes a wage progression compensation model that accounts for a candidate’s skill and experience. Although a salary range is listed, salary will be set commensurate with the successful candidate’s qualifications and in compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. Position anticipated to close on September 30, 2024, or until filled. Minimum Qualifications: Essential Duties Provides leadership and direction in student support and success program development & refinement. Assists in ongoing assessment of student support and success services outcomes. Oversees the student judicial system, maintains and administers the student code of conduct and related policies and procedures, including training of adjudication officers college wide. Serves as the ADA/504 and Title IX and VII Coordinator for students and employees, works collaboratively across the college to ensure the college's compliance with legal and regulatory obligations related to Title IX, ADA, Section 504, and related laws/regulations regarding accessibility and discrimination in collaboration with the college’s General Counsel. Oversees civil rights matters for the college including Title IX and civil rights investigations, coordinates and implements required college wide Title IX training for the Title IX team members, employees and students. Responsible for oversight of the College’s Access, Inclusion and Disability Program with relational supervision of the Access Coordinators across the college. Manages College wide student mental health resources and initiatives. Provides guidance and support for campus CARE teams, including maintaining the Advocate tracking and reporting software. Audit systems to ensure adherence to College Policy and procedures. Provide training as needed. Assist in maintenance and/or development of student-related handbooks. Other duties as assigned. Supervision Received This position reports to the Vice President for Student Affairs. Supervisory Responsibility This position may supervise full and part time student affairs team members.

Special Conditions of Employment: Successful completion of a background check including motor vehicles records report will be required. Incumbents in this position will adhere to all safety and compliance policies of Colorado Mountain College while performing all duties assigned. Travel, evenings and weekends will be required at times due to the nature of the position. Working Conditions This position requires constant sitting, occasional walking, standing and driving; occasional handling objects, pushing/pulling; frequent reaching with hands/arms, and use of finger movements; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Constant written and oral communication and the ability to reason and analyze and perform calculations occasionally. Work is performed using a computer and standard office equipment daily and driving a vehicle occasionally. CMC is committed to the full inclusion of all qualified individuals.
