Salary Range: $56,028.00 - $72,840.00 Annually

Make a difference for Colorado coal workers and their families! Centered in Northwest Colorado (Moffat, Rio Blanco, and Routt counties), this 3-year position (extension of term depends on funding) will serve as the central point of contact for transitioning coal workers and their families; work with them to prepare early for the upcoming transition away from coal; connect them to services and resources as appropriate, and establish a center of community support and collaboration among affected workers and families. The ideal candidate cares deeply about the impact of coal transition on families and communities, builds effective relationships with workers, and thinks creatively about how to best serve families through challenging times. They will not sit in an office, but will actively reach out to workers and accommodate their work schedules and meeting locations.
