Wait Staff and Banquet Staff

Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.:
• Responsible for providing professional, efficient, and friendly service
• Maintain knowledge of all restaurant menus and relating Catamount event menus
• Accurately order food and beverages and expedite guest check settlements in the designated system
• Assist guests with menu suggestions while reaching the highest of sales standards
• Setup and preparation of food and beverage operations within the guidelines
• Maintain all serving areas and stations in a clean and organized manner
• Report all guest complaints to supervisor immediately and communicate overall feedback to supervisor
• Support fellow Catamount staff members to maximize efficiency and image of overall operations
• Communicate with the supervisor for any priority needs, changes in procedures and specific requirements

Physical Requirements:
• General restaurant environment, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Minimum skills, experience, education, and ability required for this job:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Must be able to maintain composure under stressful situations
• Must have experience in a dining establishment or related work experience
• Detail oriented as it pertains to accuracy for food and beverage orders
• Ability to learn Catamount food and beverage system
• Attend all mandatory meetings and training as requested
