Construction Project Manager

Apex Mountain Homes is looking for project supervision in Summit and Park Counties. $100,000 - $120,000/yr Apex Mountain Homes is a Custom Home Builder located in Frisco, Colorado. We are celebrating 30 years in business this year. We pride ourselves on running an ethical business, where client satisfaction is our number one priority. We manage multiple projects at a time and are currently averaging 50% new builds and 50% renovations and additions. We rely on a large network of subcontractors and vendors, most of whom work with us for many years on multiple projects. Current job sites are located in Summit and Park Counties and daily travel will be required. Hours are generally Monday – Friday with a 40 hour work week.

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager with leadership skills and hands-on building experience.

Duties Include: • Supervising all phases of the building process. • Adhering to current building codes and best practices. • Following and enforcing all on-site safety procedures. • Scheduling subcontractors and overseeing their quality of work. • Resolving any issues or concerns on the job site. • Working with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials, supplies and fixtures. • Submitting permit applications and scheduling inspections. • Meeting with clients throughout all phases of the construction project. • Ensuring projects stay on time and within budget. • Assisting with and managing change orders. Requirements: • Construction knowledge and leadership experience. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Organized and detail oriented. • Flexible, adaptable and resourceful. • Strong work ethic. • Computer proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook. • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents. • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
