Job Description

The company: Harvest Hosts is a venture-backed technology company in the travel space, recently recognized as #70 on Inc. 5000’s 2022 List of the Fastest-Growing Companies in the US and #1 Fastest-Growing Company in the Travel & Hospitality Category. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the travel industry, Harvest Hosts is growing its team to maintain rapid growth. All Harvest Hosts employees work 100% remotely.

What we do: Our mission is to promote happier lives through road travel while supporting small businesses and communities along the way. Harvest Hosts, the core product in our product line-up, is a membership program connecting RV travelers to over 9,000 unique camping locations across North America. For a low annual fee, members enjoy unlimited stays at our 5,000+ diverse small business locations, including farms, wineries, breweries, distilleries, golf courses, museums, and other attractions, as well as 3,500+ private properties through our Boondockers Welcome upgrade product.

With the addition of our recently-acquired Brit Stops program, we now offer motorhomers in the UK the same type of membership with 1,100+ overnight stay options at local businesses. Across Harvest Hosts and Brit Stops, there are no camping fees - we simply encourage members to support their “Hosts” by patronizing the local businesses.

In 2023, Harvest Hosts launched two additional products that improve the lives of RVers while on the road: CampersCard and CampScanner. CampersCard is a campground discount and perks membership program that helps RVers save money on nights they spend at campgrounds. Our latest product, CampScanner, allows you to scan our database of national and state park campsites to get notified when a reservation opens at an impossible-to-book campground.

Who you are: As an integral member of our Host Relations team, you will work on the “supply” side of the business, helping small businesses, farms, and non-profits on Harvest Hosts. The role will be focused on supporting the recruitment of new Host locations, as well as driving the success of our existing Host network. You will play a pivotal role in this process by driving the efficiency and success of our HubSpot CRM system. Your contributions will be instrumental in optimizing our Host marketing, recruiting, and lifecycle efforts, ensuring that our Hubspot instance remains a cornerstone of our Host Relations operations.

You will be tasked with overseeing various aspects of database management, including maintaining data accuracy, supporting segmentation creation for marketing and recruiting efforts, automating workflows and establishing processes, and developing reporting. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to deliver targeted and personalized communication to our audience of amazing small businesses, which will support the ongoing growth of Harvest Hosts.

Additionally, you will be a team player that collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement structural enhancements to our HubSpot instance, aligning with evolving business needs while maintaining compliance with data security standards.

What you bring to the table:

HubSpot Expertise: You possess a strong understanding of HubSpot’s capabilities and limitations. Comfortable with creating and maintaining custom objects, you implement new features with ease and launch strategic plans cross-departmentally.

Excellent Communicator: Your strong communication skills enable you to understand and explain our data structures and limitations effortlessly. Whether it's Slack, email, phone, Zoom, or Asana, you are adept at all types of communication.

Focus and Discipline: Self-motivated and disciplined, you maintain a steady, calm pace to work through a variety of tasks. You take complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces to drive meaningful improvements and change.

Technologically Savvy: Navigating multiple websites, tools, and applications simultaneously is second nature to you. You feel right at home behind the keyboard, utilizing technology to its fullest potential.

Problem Solver: You thrive on handling unique problems, never shying away from challenges. When presented with a new situation, you gather notes, distill the core problem, propose solutions, and move forward without missing a beat.

3. Data Integration and Automation:

  • Establish and maintain seamless data integrations between HubSpot and other systems or platforms.
  • Develop and optimize marketing automation workflows to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.
