Job Description

Seeking an opportunity to advance your skills and have a high bonus potential? Then this is the job for YOU. Internationally recognized commercial property management firm that has a high focus on Hospitality and Event services for their customers, is seeking a professional Assistant Property Manager/Operations Manager for a Class A Office property in DC. Property offers a variety of amenities to their tenants, daily specialty events, multiple restaurants and food services, and much more. Position will mentor a Property Assistant/Client Services Assistant, as well interact with the Event Manager to plan out the events for the building! Company provides outstanding benefits, fair compensation, and excellent bonus potential!! This is an extremely fun environment with a high volume of interaction with tenants and vendors!!

Responsibilities:

  • Interfacing with tenants
  • Reviewing vendor proposals and selecting vendors
  • Communicating with the Event Manager to plan out events throughout the year
  • Developing/mentoring staff to be very hospitality focused
  • Providing guidance and mentoring for property management staff
  • Overseeing TI and any CapEx projects
  • Preparing budgets and analyzing financials
  • Generating CAM's and providing explanations
  • Participating in company meetings
  • Training staff and partnering to train other teams, as needed
  • Resolving tenant concerns and providing solutions
  • Monitoring spending to budget to determine variances
  • Preparing financial reporting for ownership
  • Managing leasing administration and specialty bottom floor retailers
  • Determining new green initiatives for building, if needed
  • Innovating new ideas to increase tenant participation

Must Have:

  • BA or BS
  • 2+ years as a commercial Assistant Property Manager
  • MS Office
  • Yardi or MRI experience
  • Preparation experience with budgeting and CAM Reconciliation - a must
