Job Description
Full Time Registered Nurse - Radiation Oncology
Our Radiation Oncology Department is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of oncology nursing principles and practices, as well as experience working in a radiation oncology setting.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing direct patient care to patients undergoing radiation therapy
- Administering medications and treatments
- Monitoring patients for side effects and complications
- Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team
- Educating patients and their families about radiation therapy
Qualifications for this position include:
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Colorado
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent
- One year of experience working in a radiation oncology setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
