Description:

As the Digital Product Manager, Guest Experience, you will lead digital products across bartaco’s digital ecosystem, including both on and off-premise dining. You will be responsible for both the roadmap and the day-to-day, managing the operational rollout of new features, product updates, site optimizations, testing protocols, and design and implementation of a KPI-based performance framework to measure the health of bartaco’s digital products.

With a customer-first mindset, you will build and continuously optimize a portfolio of digital products to improve the customer experience. We are looking for a self-starter who is intellectually curious and possesses the ability to pull together insights, data, and industry best practices to elevate our guest experience. As with any growth stage brand, we are looking for a leader and a do-er who can author strategy, but also get in the weeds and execute programs, no matter how tactical.


Responsibilities

  • Combine expertise in analytics, SEO, UX, and product management to deliver a best-in-class dining experience, whether on or off-premise
  • Define and execute a roadmap for customer-facing digital products, working cross-functionally to meet objectives, timelines, and KPIs
  • Analyze consumer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships from a build/buy perspective; assessing current competitor offerings, identifying opportunities for differentiation
  • Lead digital product activities – guest research, story mapping, scrums, stand-ups, design reviews, sprint demos, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
  • Define, analyze, track, and report on measures of success (KPIs) for each digital product and proactively identify continuous opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with IT, Marketing, and Finance to shape the design and technology servicing the digital ordering experience
  • Partner with operations on rollout processes, training, and SOP
  • Lead feedback sessions and keep a strong pulse of feedback both from guests and stores
  • Manage and coordinate external vendors, relationships, and technical requirements to continue to develop and enhance bartaco’s digital experiences
  • Provide regular communication to senior leadership on status updates, including project timelines, milestones, and deadlines
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with operations, frequently visiting locations
  • Attend industry events to stay informed on trends and technologies, and build a strong bartaco presence as a digital leader in the industry


Requirements:

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer-facing digital product management experience
  • Preference for experience in restaurant, retail or related industries with a background in loyalty, personalization, or customer lifecycle management
  • A proven track record in product planning, defining and launching successful products, unifying product portfolios, and working with SaaS product lines
  • Proficiency at appropriately applying Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean methods to identify and deliver high-value business and customer outcomes through digital products
  • Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross-functionally.
  • Strategic mindset and bias for action towards driving business outcomes through digital products.
  • A proven track record of delivering innovative and engaging customer experiences informed by data and insights.
  • Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations, balance competing priorities, and demonstrate the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Comfortable working within a fast-paced, rapidly growing company.
  • A proven track record of advocating for guest experience and conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Knowledge and experience with A/B and strong analytical skills in defining and measuring KPIs
  • Experience partnering well with cross-functional teams, being highly collaborative with the ability to build strong relationships

This position is remote; the candidate must be located in a market with a bartaco.

Expected Travel: up to 30% (after the initial training period)
