We are recruiting for our client in Carbondale, CO. Our client is located in a mountain resort community. Join our team and work on exciting projects such as: luxury custom residential, commercial, resort, multi-family, community, forensic & historic projects
We currently support the Western Slope of Colorado, including Carbondale, Aspen, Snowmass Village, Basalt, Glenwood Springs, Ouray, Ridgway, Telluride, Gypsum, Eagle, Avon, Vail, Gunnison & Crested Butte. This is an on-site position (no remote).

Base Qualifications:
- B.S. and/or M.S. in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of EIT certification, along with or working towards a Colorado PE/SE license
- Mid- level Structural Engineer (4-10 years experience)
Structural Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design building structures of wood, steel, concrete, masonry & other materials
- Continually learn & apply structural engineering principles & applicable building/design codes
- Continually learn, develop and integrate sustainable structural design practices (reduce carbon footprint)
- Collaborate effectively, internally & externally
- Produce clear, concise structural drawings and calculations
- Provide excellent construction administration, including field observations & formal reports
- Efficiently use structural analysis software, including RISA, Dlubal, Enercalc, Forte, etc
- Efficiently use documentation & collaboration software, including Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Revit &/or Archicad to communicate with in-house drafting/modeling team
- Foster strong relationships with our community, clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, engineers & building departments
- Be ethical, professional, proactive & thoughtful
Additional Experience of Interest (not required):
- Historic structures
- Forensic assessment & engineering
- Advanced BIM experience
- Advanced knowledge of industry applicable technology
