Position: Director of Facilities

Location: Vail, CO

Job Summary:

The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all facilities within the organization. This includes managing a team of facility maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, developing and implementing maintenance plans, and controlling facility operating costs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance and operation of all facilities
- Manage a team of facility maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of all facilities
- Control facility operating costs and develop budgets for facility maintenance and operations
- Oversee the procurement of supplies, equipment, and services necessary for facility maintenance
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers
- Collaborate with other departments to support their facility needs
- Represent the organization in facility-related matters with external stakeholders

Qualifications:
- Certifications in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related fields preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and manage budgets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software
