Clerical Clerk

SGI Global is seeking Jail Call Listeners responsible for directly providing a wide variety of clerical support to the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), District of Maryland. The position is part time and located in Baltimore Maryland.

Job Duties

The position will provide clerical assistance to include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Gather, review and analyze calls made by detained individuals.
• Summarize calls of note for AUSAs.
• Identify portions of calls that may be helpful in connection with ongoing investigations and/or trial.
• Review and analyze other case-related information as requested by AUSAs, including phone records, forensic device extractions reports, etc. and organize information in systems as requested by AUSA, including case-map.
• Draft portions of affidavits, as requested by AUSAs under their supervision.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Minimum 2 years undergraduate studies with a focus on Criminal Justice or Law is preferred for Jail Call Listeners
• Knowledge of personal computers, as well as the ability to operate various office equipment, i.e. fax machines, copiers, and scanners. Software applications may include, but are not limited to, word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and electronic mail.
• Ability to organize work and complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence.
• Good communications skills both orally and in writing are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Access.
