LPR International is seeking an Office Administrator to support our client based in Largo, MD. This is a full-time, temporary position. It is the primary responsibility of the Office Administrator to be highly organized and detail-oriented with strong office administrative and customer service skills. The Office Administrator is responsible for creating, updating and applying all HR policies and company guidelines and making sure they adhere to standards and laws.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Greet visitors in a professional manner
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to customer and employee emails and directing customers and employees to the appropriate team member
  • Process, sort, and route incoming and outgoing mail
  • Monitor and order office supplies, furniture and electronics as required, including fingerprinting machine, copier, and fax machine
  • Perform fingerprinting submissions for scheduled and walk-in customers; create and maintain files related to fingerprinting activities
  • Distribute and order uniforms
  • Report office progress to management and work with them to improve office operations and procedures
  • Assist with updating company handbooks, employee files, payroll, operations, discipline, recruiting, onboarding, orientation and training and other procedures, as necessary
  • Handle internal inquiries and complaints
  • Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the company, as needed


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One (1) year of guest service experience, Human Resources, administrative/clerical, or related experience
  • Willing to successfully complete a one (1) day fingerprinting course to obtain a certification to perform fingerprinting duties

PREFERRED

  • Associates or bachelor's degree
  • Previous experience working in a similar hospitality or administrative driven setting for operational knowledge


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a strong attention to detail; ability to multi-task with the ability to be self-directed
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to operate general office equipment, proficient in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail and possess strong organizational and time management skills


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Regular scheduled work hours: Mon - Fri
  • Must be flexible if needed for occasional work outside of normal business hours
