Employment Type: Full Time, Year Round

Start Date: May 27th, 2024

Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000 / year (DOE), plus up to 5% annual bonus potential

Schedule: Flexible schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Deputize in the absence of the Executive Chef.
  • Conduct daily meetings with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure dishes meet quality, quantity, presentation, and temperature standards.
  • Coordinate communication between kitchen and restaurant staff.
  • Report and follow up on maintenance issues promptly.
  • Train staff on portion control and presentation, utilizing approved SOPs and training guidelines.
  • Assist in menu development and creation, focusing on seasonal availability.
  • Maintain administrative duties, including monitoring inventory and labor costs.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining SOPs and checklists.
  • Oversee and assist with budget establishment and maintenance.
  • Hold daily meetings with the Restaurant Manager to address VIP needs.
  • Ensure strict adherence to hygiene requirements and dress code standards.
  • Manage stock ordering, storage, and security.
  • Conduct thorough staff training on kitchen equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory notices and safety procedures.
  • Monitor staff attendance and assist with payroll.
  • Maintain fair disciplinary practices and foster a respectful work environment.
  • Continuously update knowledge and skills in the field.
  • Participate in safety inspections and report maintenance issues.
  • Address customer complaints promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Maintain personal hygiene and professional appearance.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and developments.
  • Report work-related injuries to Human Resources.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
