As a member of the EBS-C Requirements Team, you will be an integral part of the fabric that binds many of the various efforts on the program together. From the strategic portfolio to the technical architecture, "requirements" are found everywhere. This team structures requirements into a common framework based on leading best practices and helps to prepare the Army to deliver value to the civilian and the soldier through the development and release of a materiel solution. This team member will be the point resource for the Secure/Protected User Community (S/PUC) requirements and will assist grooming other requirements as capacity allows. The EBS-C MFCT refers to the organization with prospective users of the classified EBS-C instance as the S/PUC.

The position will work closely with Army stakeholders, SMEs, Product Owners, Process Owners, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, and others to capture, articulate, and communicate value focused high-level requirements in the form of Agile Epics and Features. Working with the functional and technical communities, this position will support feature decomposition in form user stories and other criteria with enough information to satisfy down-stream customers including the Army project management office for acquisition and contracting needs and software development vendors who will create a materiel I/T solution for the Army.

Duties include:
• Capture, catalog, manage, update, and validate business requirements through Agile Epic and Feature definitions and structures.
• Serve as a translator to understand Army subject matter experts' feedback and document Army requirements as expressed in reengineering workshops through various artifacts, e.g., future state process maps, journey maps, personas, value chains, key performance measures, high level objectives, etc., into Agile Requirements.
• Ensure adherence to the methods and conventions set forth in the EBS Modernization Playbook and associated operational methods developed to codify Joint Reengineering and Software Realization by the MFCT and the PM
• Provide guidance to their assigned product team(s) as they develop briefing materials on the resulting transformation instructions (updated Epics, new/revised Features) to ensure they communicate the 'so what' to both internal and external audiences.
• Assist and support the Acquisition process to assure the transformation instructions (via Epics, Features and additional artifacts included in the requirements package) are designed, developed, released, and deployed.


Special Skills:

• Must have experience in facilitating working sessions with numerous stakeholders to elicit requirements (Epics, Features, User Stories) found at various layers of the Enterprise and drive the requirements ideation, capture and grooming processes
• Preferred familiarity with Army business processes and the systems that support those processes
• Preferred experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions, landscapes, and implementation methodologies
