Sales Representative

We are in need of a dedicated and skilled Sales Representative to become part of our team. The perfect candidate will handle the auctioning and promotion of our labor and Traffic control services to general contractors vying for government contracts. Although our headquarters are in Montgomery County, this position entails traveling throughout Maryland, focusing primarily from Baltimore City to Washington DC.

Compensation:

• Base Salary: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00
• Aggressive Commission Structure with NO commission cap.
• Car Allowance.
• Cell Phone Allowance.
• Paid Time Off and Vacation.

• Identify and engage with general contractors bidding on government construction projects.
• Attend bid meetings to network with estimators and project managers.
• Communicate with government procurement departments to stay informed about upcoming projects.
• Navigate government procurement websites to stay on top of new job opportunities.
• Represent R&R Contracting Utilities, Inc. professionally and effectively communicate our services to potential clients.
• Meet sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.

Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualities:

• Proven experience in government contracting, construction sales, labor service sales, or traffic control (flagging) sales.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry and government procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
• Familiarity with Maryland's construction landscape and government agencies is a plus.
• Motivated self-starter with a drive to succeed and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using technology and software relevant to sales and project management.

Requirements:

• Maryland-based, with the ability to travel across the state.
• Prior experience in government contracting, construction sales, labor service sales, or traffic control (flagging) sales.
• Familiarity with government procurement websites is highly desirable.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• At least 2 years of sales experience preferred.
