Temporary Summer Landscaping position

The City of College Park is looking for full-time or part-time temporary help for the summer on our landscaping crew. The hours will be from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for three to five days per week. The hourly pay will be $12.00 and there will be no benefits provided. Primary duties include pulling weeds, pruning shrubs and trees, cleaning up after more extensive landscape work, and other basic landscaping functions. Required qualifications are: the ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and be on your feet for several hours per day; the ability to work outside in heat and adverse weather conditions; and the ability to operate mechanical equipment such as a weed eater, leaf blower, and manual lawn mower.
