Entry Level Installation Technician

We are currently in search of a Part-Time talented Installation Technician for Custom Window Coverings and Exterior Products to join us and offer exemplary service to our Western Slope’s businesses and homeowners. Opportunity for Full-Time may become available. To be an effective part of our team, installers must possess strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude, respectfulness, and cleanliness. Our workdays, Monday-Friday, begin between 8:00-8:30am and conclude between 4:30-5:00 pm; however, there may be times when projects spill over past the allotted time and our staff must be flexible to accommodate. We believe in keeping our promise to clients and never leaving a job unfinished. Work vehicle and job tools are provided after training period. Although we do not provide health insurance, we do offer buildable vacation time, sick time, and seven paid holidays a year (for Full Time Employees). Wage is contingent upon experience (not necessarily limited to just custom window coverings).

Responsibilities:

• Professionally installing an array of hard and soft window treatments, including automated shades, designer drapery and exterior products for both residential and commercial purposes.
• Addressing any complications during job installation.
• Educating customers about how to use their purchased products correctly and maintain their warranties.
• Assisting the office and sales staff with resolving difficult setups and issues.
• Performing minor repairs and communicating technical solutions to the company.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in carpentry or workmanship from any industry is helpful, but not required,
• Having the ability to measure accurately with a tape measure.
• The capability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Possesses a friendly and professional attitude when interacting with clients.
• Ability to learn and install new technology; we specialize in automated products and services.
• Problem-solving skills and the capability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Able to complete paperwork, electronically and manually.
• Possesses a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Required to travel extensively within the service territory in a company provided vehicle and adhere to all scheduling requirements.
• Has the physical capacity to lift a minimum weight of 75 lbs and climb ladders of up to 18+ ft in height.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
