Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal (Summer)

Start Date: June 1st, 2024

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour

Schedule: Flexible schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Summary:

As a Food & Beverage Intern, you will have the opportunity to engage in a comprehensive range of responsibilities to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic hospitality industry:

• Collaborate with culinary and service teams to grasp the intricacies of fine dining restaurant and banquet operations.
• Provide support in day-to-day restaurant activities, including table set-up, reservations, and guest services.
• Actively interact with guests to gather feedback, address concerns promptly, and surpass their expectations.
• Learn to anticipate and exceed guest expectations within the luxurious dining environment.

Furthermore, your internship will encompass:

• Shadowing and working in every position within the Food & Beverage Service department.
• Involvement in month-end closing tasks, scheduling, and forecasting staff needs.
• Engaging in biweekly intern meetings and assigned management meetings.
• Direct involvement in managing Food and Beverage operations, ensuring excellent customer service, monitoring events, overseeing inventory, and adhering to The Sebastian Vail policies and procedures.
• Development of a professional network and personal brand through structured career path conversations and learning development programs.
