Do you have expert knowledge and experience practicing estate planning law (e.g. trusts, wealth transfer planning, asset protection, taxation, etc.) with high net worth clients, and experience running operations and team for estate planning law in a successful and growing firm?

What You’ll be Doing:

 

  • Using your business knowledge, expertise, and strategic vision in collaboration with the Founding Partners to help set strategic goals and oversee ongoing law firm operations.
  • Handling complex legal matters and leading service delivery with key clients while you grow the business to the point where you transition primarily into a leadership role.
  • Developing an operational strategy, tools, and systems for tracking work-in-progress within the team and optimizing the efficiency of service delivery operations on an ongoing basis.
  • Building, leading, and managing a team while fostering a strong culture of professionalism and integrity.
  • Developing and executing long-term business plans and budgets that align with the firm’s mission and values.
  • Designing and implementing substantive thought leadership programs for both internal and market-facing purposes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and admitted to practice law in Colorado, or ability to successfully become admitted through reciprocity or exam.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in estate planning law, with an advanced understanding of trusts, wealth transfer planning, asset protection, taxation, and related areas. Foundational understanding of cryptoasset ownership structures is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness and ability to work Monday through Friday, and in the Evergreen office at least three days per week during those business hours.
  • Substantial experience in a senior leadership role within a law firm with formal managerial responsibility, P&L accountability, and strong understanding of business strategy and operations.
  • Tech savvy with high technical learning aptitude, ability to work with Apple operating system, case management and billing systems (e.g. My Case), and have a high proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Adobe, Powerpoint.
  • Excellent organizational skills, proactivity, autonomy, efficiency, and obsessive attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and writing skills.

 

Compensation:

 

  • Base salary of $150K–180K depending on combined relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Personal and firm performance-based fee sharing potential that will most likely range from $50K to $200K.
  • Vesting senior equity in law firm.
