The Role:

As the Director of Design Operations at Collective Design, you will be at the helm of our operational strategy, steering the company towards efficient and effective project delivery. Your role will involve optimizing our operations, managing our financial strategies, and ensuring that our projects reflect our high standards of quality and innovation. This position requires a blend of leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the operational aspects of design and project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Leadership – Oversee the operational aspects of design projects, ensuring efficient and effective delivery. Develop and implement strategies that enhance productivity and ensure quality.
• Financial Management – Manage the financial aspects of design operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure that projects are delivered within budget and that financial goals are met.
• Team Management and Development – Lead and inspire a team of design professionals and operational staff. Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Process Optimization – Develop and refine robust operational processes and systems. Ensure that these processes align with industry best practices and contribute to the smooth execution of design projects.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work closely with other senior leaders to align operational strategies with the company's overall vision and goals. Be a key player in driving the company's growth and expansion.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of leadership experience in a design-related industry or similar.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading operational teams.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A strategic thinker with a passion for operational excellence.

What We Offer:

• Compensation ranges from $90,000-$150,000 annually or higher, based on experience & skill level.

• 3 weeks of Annual Paid Time Off.
• Opportunity to earn additional FLEX hours above 40 hours/week.
