Location: Remote with occasional travel to Columbus, OH and/or Merrillville, IN

Hours/Week: 40 hours
Rate: $112/hr
Contract Type: 1099 or W-2

Scope of Services:
The PMO Resource Management Consultant plays a pivotal role in supporting resource management activities within the Project Management Office (PMO), leveraging expertise in ServiceNow. This position involves resource tracking, allocation, forecasting, and planning, contributing to the overall success of projects. Additionally, the Consultant will conduct data analysis, maintain project documentation, and ensure compliance with project management processes. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is essential to communicate project metrics, manage project risks and issues, and drive quality assurance initiatives.

Roles, Responsibilities, and Deliverables:

• Resource Management:
  • Support resource managers in tracking and allocating resources for projects.
  • Contribute to resource forecasting and planning efforts.
• Data Analysis:
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret project data to provide insights into project performance.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate key project metrics effectively.
• Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain project documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate regular project status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Risk and Issue Tracking:
  • Maintain a register of project risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
• Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with project management processes.
  • Contribute to the identification and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in resource management within a PMO.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate effectively with team members.
• Expertise in ServiceNow and Excel is required.
• Experience in the utilities industry is a plus.
